This item is pre-owned and no longer has its outer box or instruction manual. It has been tested and is fully working. The cartridge and sticker show some signs of wear. See pictures for more detail.
The battery inside the cartridge has died but Pokemon Ruby does not require a battery for saving the game meaning that you won't lose any data. The battery in this game is used for the in-game clock which means that any time based events will not work unless the battery is changed. However this doesn't impact general gameplay and it can be played like normal.
